Exhibits include indigenous and endemic Hawaiian sea life found in tropical reefs and the Pacific Ocean and the first Coral World International marine park in the U.S. The 750,000-gallon tank has an acrylic walk-through tunnel. This nonprofit environmental educational center makes ‘Iao Valley’s natural beauty and wildlife accessible with 30 hands-on exhibits, a solarium, touch pools, an aquarium and guided nature walks. Open daily, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Iao Valley State Park
Approximately three miles west of Kahului, via ‘Iao Valley Road (Hwy. 32). The park is dominated by the spectacular ‘Iao Needle, a 1,200-foot lava rock spire. A paved walkway leads to a ridgetop lookout that offers views of the valley.

Kepaniwai Park
Northwest of Kahului. Heritage Gardens is filled with lush, subtropical vegetation. Included on the grounds are a variety of Hawaiian grass-roofed shacks, a New England saltbox and a Portuguese villa.

The Center features the 1,200 seat Castle Theater, the intimate McCoy Studio Theater, outdoor Alexander & Baldwin Amphitheater and Schaefer International Gallery.
